1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of Baraka Learning ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Baraka Learning Online, providing online and in-person Arabic and Qur'an classes for children ages 4–10 from Columbus, Ohio. By using our service or enrolling a child, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptance

By registering a child, subscribing, or continuing to use the site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child you enrol. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

4. Our service

We provide weekly group classes (online via Zoom or in-person in Columbus), instructional materials, and parent progress updates as part of a monthly subscription. Class times and formats may change with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

You must not: use the service unlawfully; impersonate others; share class access with non-enrolled children; record classes without consent; harass instructors or other families; or attempt to interfere with the site (scraping, probing, malware).

6. Intellectual property

All curriculum, worksheets, videos, branding, and materials we provide remain our property. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them solely for your enrolled child.

7. Payment, subscription and refunds

Tuition is $50 per month per child, billed automatically each month until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, tax, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of the current paid month.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach of these terms, abusive conduct toward instructors or other families, or activity that threatens the safety of our learning environment.

10. Service availability

We do our best to provide reliable classes but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may reschedule classes for illness, holidays, or unforeseen events and will notify you in advance.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 6 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Children's safety

Online classes are conducted with cameras on in shared family spaces where possible. We follow safeguarding best practices. Parents are responsible for supervising their child during online classes.
